I went to the farmer’s market again today. Here’s what I got:
- 3 leeks
- a few parsnips
- garlic
- 2 avocades
- raspberries
- 2 red onions
- 1 cauliflower
- grapes
- kabocha squash
- 2 turnips
- a few yellow carrots
- 4 small heads lettuce
- apples
- cheese (wrapped in paper!)
I’m using the root vegetables for roasted vegetables. The cheese I’m going to try and use in macaroni and cheese in place of cheddar. I found a really good recipe for roasted cauliflower, so I’ll make that too. The leeks are for potato leek soup. So expect lots of good recipes this week. 🙂
